A Calling

Shine, Children of the Light
Through the cracks of our broken world.

Shine, Brothers of the Sun.
Refract in the tears of our nation;
Break dawn in the shadows of our time.

Shine, Sisters of the Moon.
Bear illumination in your womb;
Birth grace from the fire in your heart.

And be not discouraged
if your light fades,
For you will dance it strong
once again.

That you may heed your call as a beacon
in the dark night of a peoples’ Soul.
Inviting It home on a path lit by Love
and strewn with the flames of Freedom.
